@ReX342 “Human beings are robot- slaves of a selfish, greedy survival

Krishnamurti’s description of our consciousness? The selfish ‘me’ is rooted
in our cells, and arises in the brain as ‘Thought’. THC ‘affects the cell
receptors which are involved with Thought, memory and time.’ Cannabis
actively suppresses the ‘me’ at its source, the cell. Unfortunately, this
‘new mind’ lasts only as long as the THC remains active.

Why one of the most famous atheists practices meditation
One of the best videos I’ve ever seen on the mechanics and reasons for
mediation from a western perspective. The bottom line: its really, really
hard…but yields tremendous positive effects.
