If I meditate before sleep I always get lucid and vivid dreams, of course
depending how successful the meditation is, because you know in the
morning, how you wake up then you go to sleep then you wake up and then go
to sleep and boom, you have really vivid dream, and if you meditate at
night its very likely that you will fall asleep your head will fall a
little and you wake up,repeat, by this way I induce vivid dreams when I
sleep, try and tell me what happens to whoever wants to try.
Now that is a brilliant answer!
Yes, that is a lucid dream. When you are able to realize that you are
having a dream, then you are lucidly dreaming. I do not have much
experience with lucid dreaming, but I would love to be able to practice
more with controlling my dreams. I typically do not have nightmares, so I
tend to “just go” with the dream and only realize that it was a dream when
I wake up. 🙂
Exactly my sentiments! Quite rightfully top comment!
Have you ever herd of astral projection? It’s basically lucid dreaming but
you achieve it through deep meditation. You go from an awakened state
directly to an OBE.
True, but how are you really gonna miss out on that opportunity my good
sir. I mean if the guy has something important to say he can say it in
front of my new 10 friends 😀
I just realize that today … Awesome … Im doing it right …. I just
started to do mindfullness a week ago … and I had some vivid dreams
…that in some way got me in a very good mood and recharged me with a very
positive energy during the day!
The latter portion of this video is a prime example of why I love to hear
successful lucid dreamers speak. They have such JOY at what they’re able to
manifest! Lucid dreaming is, seriously, one of the skills a person should
master in their lifetimes. There is NOTHING equatable to the freedom it
offers.
Nicely explained and I appreciated hearing “the point is not to play
games…”. Seems like so many sites which explain how to have lucid dreams
are all about ‘playing games’ instead of probing yourself and feelings.
However, when you think about it, if someone in a dream is trying to
explain something important to you a moment before you become lucid and you
interrupt that conversation to wish for 10 girls in bikinis, you are losing
out on that info.
About oozecandy’s comment, I had this experience, I asked some kind of
guide to tell me something, but now I dont remember because I wasnt fully
lucid, its a funny experience, try to ask your guide or someone that you
think can help you and see what happens 😀 Another funny experiece, I want
to master lucid dreaming so i can OBE, i did it once sucessfuly going into
the paralysis state, I was dreaming flying forward and then really quick I
flew upwards and then blackness, and felt SP.
